Charlie DAVOT débute la batterie en autodidacte à l’âge de 6 ans, puis suis des cours en école de musique, au conservatoire de Troyes, et obtient le diplôme du Centre Musical et Créatif de Nancy en 1991 suite à un cursus professionnel. Expériences professionnelles dès 1992 avec UNITED COLORS OF SODOM, Médéric COLIGNON, NEERMAN & KOUYATE, JADE, MISTER BIRD, Gustavo OVALLES, TH8 etc… Beaucoup de concerts, TV, tournées, et quelques récompenses comme par exemple disque d’émoi dans jazz mag avec YLLEN 4 ou encore les victoires de la musique avec CASCADEUR en 2015. Artiste MURAT DIRIL et CODE Drumheads depuis 2017, il enseigne parallèlement la batterie à la Music Academy International et à l’école des musiques de Lillebonne de Nancy. Il se produit également régulièrement en solo en concert, ou masterclass (CD Locus Solus) ainsi qu’en duo avec le batteur Franck AGULHON (RYTHMOLOGY).

Charles Davot started playing the drums at the age of 6. He started teaching himself, then took music classes at the conservatoire. In 1991, he successfully passed the final exam at the Music Academy International, after having taken the professional musician courses. Since then, he has performed on many stages and in studio, with Cascadeur, Neerman et Kouyaté, Jade, Gustavo Ovalles, Médéric Collignon, Mister Bird, TH8, Rythmology (Drum duo with Franck Aguhlon) etc but also in a solo show. He won the French award “les Victoires de la Musique”, in 2015, with Cascadeur. He also teaches the drums at the Music Academy International, conducts masterclasses, and currently works on a drums sight reading textbook. Gretsch artist, and also support by Murat Diril cymbals, Code Drumheads and In Ears Legrand.
